MHEG-5 in Hong Kong

The MHEG-5 profile for Hong Kong is maintained by the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI)

The most important changes (compared to the UK profile) include:

• support for the UTF-16 character encoding
• support for traditional and simplified chinese characters (Font rec://font/hk1)
• EPG key (including new "Userinput registers" and an EngineEvent)
